In 1955 the Vandemoortele Group founded a transportation company. The company initially known as “Metro nv” has grown to be a major European player in temperature controlled transports and provides logistics services to both Vandemoortele and numerous other food producers. Meanwhile, the company underwent a name change and was renamed Vandemoortele Transport Solutions NV.
The company has matured to be a specialist in temperature controlled transports of both full and part loads across Europe.
Vandemoortele Transport Solutions NV operates an extensive fleet and several transports & logistics networks for the handling and distribution of chilled, frozen and ambient products.
